Care for your ring

With the Velur Care Plan, you can send your ring in once during each year of the term for a refurbishment. The plan runs for two years from delivery and ends automatically afterwards.

What is included

Our appointed goldsmith cleans and polishes the ring, checks the setting and stone, and addresses minor signs of wear. For white gold, this includes renewing the rhodium plating.

Repairs, replacement stones, resizing and gold replating are not included. If additional work is needed, you will receive a quote first. We only carry out chargeable additional work with your consent. If the ring's condition does not allow a safe refurbishment, we will discuss the next steps with you.

Term and refurbishments

Your first term year begins on the day you receive the ring. The second begins twelve months later. One refurbishment is included in each term year. An unused refurbishment expires at the end of that year and is not refundable.

The date we receive your request determines which term year applies. A refurbishment requested during a term year may still take place after that term year has ended.

The plan belongs to the ring for which you purchased it. You can purchase it together with the ring or through an additional offer we provide with a ring order. With an additional purchase, the original delivery remains the start of the term.

How to request a refurbishment

Email us with your order number at hey@velur.de. We will check that the plan covers your ring and that a refurbishment is available, and agree the shipping arrangements with you.

Shipping

From Germany and Austria, we provide an insured return label and cover shipping both ways. When you use our label, we bear the transport risk.

From other countries, you send the ring to us insured at your own expense. The transport risk remains with you until we receive it. We cover the return shipping.

Returns, model changes and replacements

If you voluntarily return the ring for a refund, we will also refund the Care Plan if you have not used a refurbishment. Statutory withdrawal is governed by the applicable law and our Right of Withdrawal.

If you change the model or receive a replacement ring, the plan transfers to the new ring. The original term and any refurbishments already used remain unchanged.
