We custom-make your ring just for you and ship it worldwide, insured and free of charge.
Velur ships all orders worldwide for free and with insurance. Orders over €500 are shipped via UPS Express by default; orders under €500 are shipped via DHL. Deliveries are made in neutral, discreet packaging with no additional customs fees.
Shipping Costs & Service Providers
We want your shopping experience at Velur to be as stress-free as possible. That's why we'll cover the shipping costs for you—no matter where in the world you are.
- Free shipping worldwide: Every order is delivered to you with no additional shipping costs.
- Orders over €500: Shipping is standard and insured via UPS Express.
- Orders under €500: Shipping is insured via DHL.
As soon as your piece of jewellery leaves our workshop in Munich, you'll receive an email with the tracking number so you can track your shipment at any time.
Important: The shipping address cannot be changed after the order has been shipped. If the package cannot be delivered, it will be returned to us and we will have to reship it.
Delivery Times & Production
You can find the exact production time for each piece of jewellery directly on the respective product page. The following guidelines are provided for your reference:
- Made-to-Order (custom-made): Production typically takes 2 to 4 weeks. Each ring is handcrafted after you place your order and undergoes our quality control process before it is shipped.
- In Stock (Ready to Ship): Items marked as "in stock" are usually shipped within 2 to 3 business days.
As soon as your piece of jewellery leaves our workshop, you’ll receive an email with the tracking number. If you need your ring by a specific date (e.g., for a planned proposal), please contact us in advance via WhatsApp or email. We’ll be happy to see if we can prioritize your order.
Packaging & Discretion
A marriage proposal is a surprise—and it should stay that way until you present the ring. That's why we place great importance on absolute discretion when shipping.
Your ring will be delivered in a high-quality Velur ring box, which is perfect for a proposal. However, this box is enclosed in completely plain shipping packaging. From the outside, it’s not apparent that the package contains jewellery or is a shipment from Velur. This ensures your surprise remains a secret, even if you and your partner receive the package together.
Customs Duties & Taxes
We ship our jewellery worldwide. There are no hidden costs for you. We cover any customs duties or import taxes that may apply, regardless of the destination country.
The price you see at checkout is the final price. You won't have to make any additional payments when you receive the package.
Frequently Asked Questions About Shipping
Can I have the ring delivered to a Packstation?
Since we ship high-quality jewellery—which is sent via UPS Express for orders over €500—delivery to DHL Packstations is unfortunately not possible in these cases. We recommend choosing a delivery address where you can receive the package in person, or having it delivered to your workplace.
What happens if I'm not home when the delivery arrives?
If you are not home when the package is delivered, the shipping carrier will usually leave a notice. You can then use the tracking portal to schedule a new delivery date or pick up the package at a nearby package pickup location.
Is return shipping also free?
For standard, non-engraved engagement rings, we offer a one-time, free model exchange within 30 days of receipt. We do not offer voluntary refunds for made-to-order engagement rings. Engravings, custom-made items, and rings that have been modified or resized are excluded. Standard configurator selections do not count as customization.
