You can open it directly from a product page, choose between “On Model” and “On Me” in the Tangiblee window, and use the view to get a first impression. A physical synthetic resin try-on ring, on the other hand, lets you check the size, shape, proportions, and fit during a quick try-on.
Both answer a different question: The virtual view helps with visual comparison, while the try-on model helps you get a feel for the actual profile. If you like a model, you can combine both steps.

How does the ring look on your hand?
When choosing an engagement ring, it’s not just product photos and measurements in millimeters that matter. You want to see how an oval, round, or marquise-cut stone looks on your hand. That’s exactly where the virtual try-on comes in: it places a digital rendering of the selected ring on your hand or a model’s hand.
You can get started on the product page. Using the Rêverie Florale as an example, you’ll find the “Try On” button in the gallery. Clicking it opens the Tangiblee widget. There, you’ll see the options “On Model” and “On Me.” This allows you to first choose a neutral view or adjust the ring to fit your own perspective.
This is a guide to help you decide based on appearance. You can compare whether you like the stone shape, the height of the setting, and the overall look. You can also see if a model matches the style you had in mind. When making a purchase decision, you should also check the product details, the ring size, and the desired gold color.
Here's how to start the virtual try-on
First, open the product page for the ring you want to compare. Look for “Try On” in the gallery and open the widget. The exact layout may vary depending on your device and the current widget flow; the window offers two options: “On Model” and “On Me.”
With “Try On,” you get immediate visual guidance without having to take a photo yourself. On your desktop, “Try On” takes you to a QR code that you can scan with your smartphone. Your smartphone then handles the rest of the try-on process. This way, you don’t have to search for the product page on your small screen if you’re comparing items on your computer first.
Then compare that model with your other favorites. Pay attention to the shape of the stone, the width of the band, and how high the setting appears. If necessary, make a note of the model names so you can find them later on the respective product pages.
The screen, camera angle, and presentation all influence the impression you get. A virtual view is therefore not a tool for measuring your ring size. Not every model or device feature may be available. Use the virtual try-on as a visual guide and check any unanswered questions using the product details or by consulting with a sales associate.
What the virtual view can do
The digital view makes it easier to see the differences between ring shapes. An elongated stone may look different on your hand than a compact round cut. A tall solitaire or a striking setting is also easier to visualize as part of the overall look if you don’t just look at the isolated product photo.
However, it is no substitute for a hands-on examination. A virtual rendering cannot reliably show you how gold and gemstones feel in your hand, how a ring band fits when you bend your finger, or whether a specific size fits over your knuckle. Nor can you tell from it how a finished ring sparkles or how refined its craftsmanship and finish appear when held in your hand.
You also shouldn't assume that hand detection or an identical scale representation will be available for every device and every model. If the view looks unusual, stop the comparison and refer to the product dimensions. If you're unsure, it's helpful to ask for advice before deciding on a size or model.

When It Makes Sense to Use a Synthetic Resin Trial Ring
If you're torn between two sizes, a narrow and a wider band, or several stone shapes, trying on a physical sample can provide a different kind of clarity. You can put it on and take it off, move your hand, and check how it fits at the base of your finger. This is especially helpful if you want to evaluate not only the appearance but also the fit.

It makes sense to combine these two try-on steps. Start virtually with the rings whose shape and overall look appeal to you. This way, you can narrow down your selection without having to order several samples on a whim. Afterward, you can compare up to three suitable designs at home using synthetic resin try-on rings.
During the physical test, pay attention to three things: Does the ring slide over your knuckle without any effort? Does it stay in place at the base of your finger without feeling tight or slipping off? Does the width of the band match the comfort level you’re looking for? Write down your answers and compare them with the virtual view.
