Guide

Which wedding rings suit you?

The most important decisions explained simply, with examples to try out. Select the metal for all examples in the top right corner.

01

Material and alloy

The number before the metal name indicates the fineness: 585 gold consists of 58.5% pure gold ; the remainder is made up of other metals that determine the color and hardness. The higher the gold content, the richer the color and the higher the price.

Each ring can have its own material, and in the ring type step you can combine up to three colors in one ring. Recycled gold is used for all gold alloys.

The profile: the cross-section

The profile determines how a ring looks and how it feels worn. A curved inner surface glides more easily over the knuckle , while a flat outer surface appears clean and modern.

In the configurator, the 21 profiles are identified by abbreviations such as OV or HHE. Here you can see each one in cross-section: the outer side is shown at the top, and the side at the fingertip is shown at the bottom.

Step 3 · Open ring profile

03

The width

You adjust the width in 0.1 mm increments. A ring under 3 mm looks delicate, 3 to 5 mm is a classic size , and wider rings have a more striking appearance. Both rings can be different widths.

The maximum width of a ring depends on its profile. The possible stone size also increases with the width.

The surface

A polished ring shines brightest. Matte surfaces appear calmer and show fine scratches less clearly ; they become somewhat smoother with wear over time.

In addition to polished finishes, the configurator offers many matte and hammered finishes. Different surfaces can also be combined on a single ring.

The stone setting

Natural and lab-grown diamonds are available. They can be set individually, in a row, or covering a third, half, or the entire ring. The possible stone size depends on the ring width.

06

The engraving

Each ring receives its own engraving, inside or out: up to 50 characters , optionally including symbols such as a heart or infinity symbol. Laser and diamond engraving are available, and a fingerprint or your handwriting can also be engraved.

The configurator will show the additional cost for engraving as soon as you select an engraving type.

07

The ring size

The ring size corresponds to the inner circumference in millimeters: size 54 has a circumference of 54 mm and a diameter of approximately 17.2 mm. In the configurator, you can select a specific size for each ring between 45 and 64.5, optionally using the British or American sizing system.

  • It's best to measure in the evening at room temperature. Fingers are thinner in the morning and in cold weather.
  • The ring must fit over the ankle. For wider rings, a half size larger may be more comfortable.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about the wedding ring configurator

Still unsure?

Send us a screenshot of your configuration. We'll tell you if the profile, width, and stones are compatible.

Ask via WhatsApp

How does the wedding ring configurator work?

You design your wedding rings in seven steps: ring type, material, ring profile, ring dimensions, stone setting, joints and steps, and engraving. You see each change immediately in the 3D view, and the price for both rings is updated continuously. Once everything is perfect, you add the pair directly to your shopping cart.

Does the price apply to one ring or to both?

The total price applies to both rings. The configurator also displays the price for each ring individually.

How much do wedding rings from the configurator cost?

The price depends primarily on the metal, width, and gemstone setting. Simple silver pairs are the most affordable option; gold and platinum cost significantly more depending on the alloy and width, with gemstones setting all around adding the most. The configurator displays the exact price with each change.

How long does delivery take?

Each pair is made to order; delivery takes approximately 4 weeks. The estimated delivery date is shown directly below the price in the configurator, where you will also find information about the express service. Shipping is free and insured.

Can the two rings be different?

Yes. You can set up Ring 1 and Ring 2 separately: material, profile, width, size, stones and engraving can differ.

What materials are available?

Yellow and white gold in 333, 585 and 750, rose gold in 585 and 750, as well as platinum 950, silver 925 and stainless steel. Recycled gold is used for the gold alloys.

Which diamonds are possible?

Natural diamonds in the qualities W/SI, TW/VSI and TW/IF, as well as lab-grown diamonds in TW/VSI. TW stands for fine white (Top Wesselton), IF for flawless, VSI and SI for very small and small inclusions, respectively.

What engravings are possible and what do they cost?

Interior and exterior engraving, using laser or diamond engraving, with up to 50 characters and symbols. A fingerprint or your handwriting can also be engraved. Engraving incurs an additional charge, which the configurator will display once you select an engraving type.

Can I save or share my configuration?

Yes. In the 3D view, you can save your configuration, reload it later, print it, or share it.

Can I return the wedding rings?

Wedding rings from the configurator are made to order according to your specifications. There is no statutory right of withdrawal for such custom-made items (§ 312g para. 2 no. 1 BGB). Therefore, please carefully check the size and configuration before ordering. If you have any questions, we are happy to help via WhatsApp .

What if a ring doesn't fit?

Get in touch with us. Whether a ring can be resized depends on the model: Rings with stones all the way around usually cannot be adjusted. The most reliable way to determine the size is to use a ring sizer beforehand.

Are lab-grown diamonds real diamonds?

Yes. Lab-grown diamonds, like natural diamonds, consist of crystalline carbon and have the same hardness and refractive index. They differ in their origin and price.
